Teow Chee Chow, Teow Wooi Pin now substantial ATTA Global shareholders

KUALA LUMPUR (March 31): ATTA Global Group Bhd said Teow Chee Chow and Teow Wooi Pin have emerged as substantial shareholders in the company with a 5.84% indirect stake. Chee Chow and Wooi Pin held 21.5 million shares in ATTA via TAC Wind Sdn Bhd, following the maturity of irredeemable convertible preference shares (ICPS) it held in the company, ATTA said. This makes them the fourth largest shareholder in the company.
ATTA’s largest shareholders include executive directors Tan Kim Hee (14.53%), and Goh Chin Heng via G Reka Management Sdn Bhd (13.59%), and Ooi Chieng Sim (8.75%).
In its first half ended Dec 31, 2022 (1HFY2023), the group booked a net profit of RM6.55 million, up 34.52% from RM4.87 million the year before, as revenue rose 58.42% to RM90.74 million, from RM57.28 million.
Shares of the steel products manufacturer settled down one sen or 3.23% to 30 sen, giving it a market capitalisation of RM110.46 million. Year-to-date, the counter is up 1.69%.
